Guak(amole)

Guacamole is one of those side dishes that you need to have, especially if you love tacos — yeiii tacos! Made with cilantro and avocado (aka palta). This is my own version, served in a sauce bottle.

Why the sauce?

I only wanted to do something in one of those bottles for sauces that came all the time with our tacos. I didn't know what to do at first, but Ashe loves tacos and we didn't have so much avocado that day for a guacamole.

So I took the two small avocados we had, cilantro, red onion, pickled garlic (I love this too — it’s smoother and not so punchy when you bite it), a lot of olive oil, green olives, tamed jalapeños, lime juice, and here was my touch: capers — uuuhhhh capers.

I put everything in the processor and we got a sauce! So I put it in the bottle and we were serving it on so, so many tacos ♥

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: avocados, cilantro, red onion, garlic, capers, jalapeño, olive oil, green olives, salt, and lime juice.
  2. Add everything to a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and saucy — check the consistency and season to taste.
  4. Pour into a squeeze bottle and serve on all the tacos you want.
